1. Who We Are

BKB Techies is a sovereign digital engineering studio. We engineer custom web architecture, mobile apps, technical SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and digital advertising infrastructure for clients in India and globally.

2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BKB Techies website at bkbtechies.com and your engagement with BKB Techies as a client. By contacting us, requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

For client engagements, a separate written Project Agreement will be issued. In the event of any conflict, the Project Agreement takes precedence over these Terms for that specific engagement.

3. Our Services

3.1 Service Agreement

All services are provided based on a written Project Agreement (scope document) issued before any work commences. This document specifies:

• The deliverables to be provided
• The fixed price and milestone payment schedule
• The estimated delivery timeline
• The revision rounds included
• Post-launch support terms

No work begins until both parties have confirmed the Project Agreement in writing.

3.2 Scope Changes

If you request changes that are outside the agreed scope, we will provide a written cost and timeline impact estimate before proceeding. We will never add unexpected charges to your invoice without your explicit prior approval.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Schedule

Standard payment terms are structured as project milestones:

• 50% deposit — paid before development begins, securing your dedicated execution sprint
• 50% on completion — paid upon delivery of the agreed deliverables and your sign-off

For enterprise and phased engagements, customized milestone-based payment schedules may be defined in the Project Agreement.

4.2 Late Payment

If final payment is not received within 14 days of delivery and sign-off, we reserve the right to suspend access to any hosted services we manage on your behalf until payment is settled.

4.3 Refund Policy

The deposit is non-refundable once development has commenced, as it covers the dedicated time and compute resources allocated to your project. If BKB Techies fails to deliver the agreed scope, a fair refund of the balance will be settled in writing.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you provide to us — including text, images, logos, brand assets, and proprietary data. We are granted a limited licence to use this content solely for completing your project.

5.2 Delivered Work

Upon receipt of full payment, full ownership of all bespoke code, design assets, and content created for your specific project transfers to you. You may use, modify, or host it freely.

5.3 Reusable Components & Libraries

We may use open-source libraries, frameworks, and reusable internal components in your project. These remain licensed under their respective open-source licences (MIT, Apache, etc.).

5.4 Portfolio Use

We will not publicly reference your project, business name, or screenshots as a portfolio case study without your explicit permission. If granted, you may revoke permission at any time.

6. Privacy & Data

6.1 Our Data Practice

BKB Techies is a privacy-first agency. We do not install tracking scripts, analytics pixels, or cookie-based surveillance tools on your website unless explicitly requested. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

BKB Techies will deliver services to the highest engineering standards and in good faith. Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific project is limited to the total fees paid by you for that project.
